At Kata on Phuket we have heavy cloud cover but it's dry at the time being. Current temp at 6.30am is also 26C

Yesterday the PADI IE for November 2016 on Phuket was completed and all went well for our candidates. Today and tomorrow I'm off on the boat to teach PADI Instructor level specialty training courses and come Wednesday I will be on my way back to Koh Samui again.

Chaweng beach yesterday, in the middle of the rainy season there was a lovely sunny day, a good time to run a machine of dirty laundry and have it dried nicely without smelling damp and once the sun does get out during the rainy season or monsoon, it smells crispy and nice!

Yesterday saw a nice and sunny day around Koh Samui and it remained dry in the North Eastern part of the island although there may have been a bit of rain at other parts of the island. Max temp reached 32C

Many stangely decorated buildings can be found in Patong on Phuket, like this one on the third road from the beach, the Phra Mettra road. The Tiger group seems to have a knack for decorating some of their buildings in such a fashion.

The forecast for the next ten days predicts fairly sunny skies, mostly partially clouded skies, with some rain and a bit more heavy cloud cover come next Sunday and Monday and possibly heavy rain coming our way by next Tuesday.

Hi Tuomas,

My preferred website is 'Windguru', it has a fairly accurate ten day forecast
